Everyone is welcome to the Northern Moor Festival. The theme is  'Watch, Try, Do', encouraging the community to have a day of fun  and get involved with the activities on offer. The festival will be taking  place at Rack House Primary school in Northern Moor on Saturday 10th July  from 12-4pm.

A perfect family day out, the festival will host a main stage featuring  live music, dance, and performances from Rack House, Button Lane and St  Aidan's Primary schools including a choir and a steel band. The  festival, being the day before the World Cup Final, will be staging a  football competition open to all girls and boys of primary school age and can  be entered on the day. Other activities to get involved with include bouncy  castles, tea dances, rides, dance groups and appetising free fruit kebabs.

The festival is part-funded by Manchester City Council, Awards for All and  Parkway Green Housing Trust, and is being supported by local church and  community groups, and The Manchester College.
