Last year the 1st Northern Moor Festival in July proved that there’s more to Northern Moor!
So due to popular demand the festival is back for 2011 aiming to show that there is EVEN more to Northern Moor! It’s a festival organized by local people FOR local people.
There will an atmosphere of celebration throughout the event with a stage area, musical acts, entertainers, dancers and cheer leaders, including Stars of Wythenshawe’s Got Talent. Local organizations will be there with stalls and giving demonstrations throughout the afternoon and there will be a football tournament for local young peoples’ football teams. People will be able to also enjoy bouncy castles, fairground rides, face painters and much more…..!

The Northern Moor Gardening Society are holding their 54th Annual Show on Saturday 21st August from 2.00pm to 4.30pm at St Michael's Parish Community Hall, Orton Road.
There will be competitive displays of: Fruit, Vegetables, Flowers, Culinary Art and Handicrafts. The prizes will be presented by the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Councillor Mark Hackett. Refreshments and a Prize Raffle.
Entry £1 Adults; 20p Children.

La Jolie Ronde School of Language is opening French and Spanish Clubs for children.
